Community Benefits

In order to inform and shape all our planning proposals, Gladman Scotland engage with local communities through exhibitions and face to face meetings to better understand the needs of locals near to where development is proposed. Socio economic reports accompany applications and explain the benefits attributable to the local economy as a result of new housing development. These include the number of jobs that will be created directly and indirectly, re-balancing of demographics where populations are ageing, the income generated from development and the multiplier effect of which supports local services, other aspects as they relate to the development are addressed by us to include new and improved play areas, public open space and green networks, the delivery of affordable housing as well as additional tax revenue payable to the Council.
