Bridge of Weir - Public Exhibition

Dec 17, 2015

As part of the Application for Planning Permission in Principle for the Gladman Scotland site at Bridge of Weir, a public consultation exercise was held on 02 December 2015.

The event attracted around 80 attendees, with some positive feedback and also concerns raised over capacity of local schools, and the provision of Health Care facilities

The three local Councillors, Maria Brown (SNP), Mike Holmes (Labour) and James Maclaren (Conservative) all attended, along with the Community Council and the Tenants and Residents Association.

Comments from the questionnaires are being reviewed, and where possible the masterplan and supporting documents will tackle matters raised. The team are now undertaking all the studies and reports for the application, with a target submission of February 2016
