Proposed Flats - Land at Appleton Parkway, Eliburn

Following the ongoing success of the Barratt Homes residential development at Appleton Grange, Gladman Scotland has recently submitted an application for planning permission in principle for the development of 70 no. residential flatted units, on vacant land at Appleton Parkway, Eliburn.

The submitted masterplan proposal includes detail of access, landscaping, amenity space. Indicative design principles show the flats provided in two three storey blocks.

Due to the topography of the site, the flats will afford pleasant views toward the Pentland Hills, and will be well located within the Eliburn Community, accessible to a range of local services and facilities.

At the public consultation event held in February 2016, those who attended were largely supportive of introducing this type of home to the local market, plus the associated investment and footfall to the local economy.

It is expected that West Lothian Council will determine the application by 5 September 2016.
