The Changing Face of Planning - Scottish Young Planners Conference

Mar 26, 2018

Gladman Scotland had the pleasure of sponsoring the Scottish Young Planners Conference 2018, which took place at the Strathclyde University Technology and Innovation Centre.

The annual conference provides young planners at different stages of their journey into the profession an opportunity to immerse in enthralling and topical discussions whilst enjoying various presentations and workshops over the course of the day.

This year’s theme: ‘THE CHANGING FACE OF PLANNING – PLANNING AHEAD’, focused on the potential transformation planning faces as a result of the Planning Review and Planning Bill once enacted. Topics also focused on emerging and advancement of technologies and how we, as planners, can implement these in order to improve the existing planning system for all.

The day was an enormous success and big a thank you to the RTPI and the SYPN Steering Group for organising an enjoyable and thought-provoking event.
